Mary Anne Chern, FAHP, ACFRE
Vice President, Fund Development and External Relations

Bringing more than 15 years of health care fund raising experience to White Memorial, Mary Anne Chern leads our hospital’s fund raising efforts. She is experienced in all aspects of fund raising, including expertise in major gifts and gifts for medical practices. She has raised more than $163 million during her career.

Mary Anne has served as Foundation CEO for two Daniel Freeman Hospitals, the Inter-Community Medical Center in Covina, Queen of Angels/Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center and Winthrop-University Hospital in New York.

She holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and has the distinction of being one of only three individuals internationally awarded both fellow status and Advanced Certification by the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy and the National Society of Fund Raising Executives.
