Albert R. Deininger, FACHE
Vice President of Construction and Facilities

Al Deininger is responsible for daily operations of The New White Memorial, White Memorial's campuswide construction project and facilities.

Having worked within the Adventist Health System throughout his career, Al has held administrative positions for nearly 20 years at Kettering Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio; and Taiwan Adventist Hospital in Taipei, Taiwan, before arriving at White Memorial in 1987. During his time in Taiwan, Al also served on the board of the Mennonite Christian Hospital for eight years.

Prior to this, he was Patient Accounts Manager at New England Memorial Hospital in Stoneham, Mass.

Al’s education includes a bachelor's degree in business administration from Atlantic Union College in South Lancaster, Massachusetts, and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from The George Washington University in Washington D.C. He served a clerkship at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, Maryland, and an administrative residency at Graham Hospital Association in Canton, Illinois.

Al’s management philosophy can be summarized: to provide the resources needed for people with motivation to achieve the goals of the organization and achieve personal growth and daily job satisfaction.
