Travel Vaccines

White Memorial Medical Center offers the following immunizations and vaccines through the Outpatient Laboratory. Vaccines are available Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. No appointment is required.

The Laboratory is located in Medical Plaza I on 1701 Cesar E. Chavez Ave., Suite 330.

Payment for travel vaccinations is expected at the time of service. There is an injection fee of $15 for the first vaccine and $5 for each additional one. Please note that these immunizations are not covered by most health plans, so please check with your health plan before coming to the hospital.

It is highly recommended that travelers consult with their own physician before receiving any vaccination.

Current health information for international travel may be obtained from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. To view diseases by their occurrence in a specific region, click on the "Outbreaks" link in the left sidbar of the CDC website. The World Health Organization website also allows travelers to access country specific information.

Yellow Fever Vaccine

Required for travelers returning to the United States from endemic areas of Africa, Southern Asia, & South America. Vaccine supplied with an International Certificate of Vaccination,  WMMC Laboratory is an officially designated Yellow Fever Vaccination Center by the State of California Department of Health.
