Christmas Outreach Activities
White Memorial is accepting Christmas donations for the community, children, the homeless and victims of the area’s recent fires.
Donations for the general community, the homeless and fire victims include non-perishable food, clothing, Bibles and inspirational books. Donations can be dropped off at labeled containers in the hospital Cafeteria, the East Entrance, and the Medical Staff Office.
The hospital is also conducting its annual Toy Drive; if you wish to donate toys for the Toy Drive, bring an unwrapped or wrapped gift by Dec. 11 to the Charitable Foundation or the Medical Staff Office. If the gift is wrapped, please indicate if they toy is for a boy or girl, and what age the toy is appropriate for.
Toys are donated to the children at the MAOF/WMMC Rainbow Children’s Center, White Memorial Adventist School, and the WMMC Pediatrics Unit, Infant Stimulation Program, Cleft Palate Program, Cancer Center, and any other children in the hospital during the holidays. We also distribute toys to needy members of the WMMC staff and also to local needy children through the Mexican Consulate, Councilmember Huizar’s office the Mayor’s office, and other resources.
