• Education: Loma Linda University, CA (M.P.H., Maternal and Child Health).
• Hobbies: Enjoying yoga, scuba diving, camping, listening to classic rock music, reading (area of interest: leadership and psychology) and playing santoor (a Persian musical instrument).
• Languages Spoken in Addition to English: Farsi (Persian).
• Personal Accomplishments: I had the honor of conducting multiple health care projects in the field of women and children’s health with a concentration in underserved communities in Iran and the United States. I directed various research projects in Maternal and Child Health and I believe by empowering our children and mothers in society, we are working towards having a glorious universe.

• Personal Accomplishments: Playing on the Vanderbilt Women’s Basketball Team (Division I) and winning SEC Championship twice. Learning Spanish! I studied the language for many years but in the past I struggled to use it. After living in Mexico for four years, I have finally become comfortable and more confident with the language.
