The surgical training aspect of our program utilizes the most up-to-date and cutting edge procedures when addressing forefoot/rearfoot deformities as well as that of the time-honored and evidence-based.
In addition to the rich ‘hands on’ procedural facets of our program, monthly journal club meetings, presentations, and ongoing research opportunities play an important role in keeping our residents current with advances made in the field of Podiatric medicine and surgery.
Over the years, the White Memorial Medical Center has routinely provided an environment rich in clinical and cultural diversity while partnering with Saddleback Valley Outpatient Surgery center to expand the comprehensive spectrum of Podiatric surgical experience to our residents.
Each year, one position is offered through the Centralized Application Service for Podiatric Residencies. Our residents enjoy the invaluable experience associated with an inner city hospital that has a rich heritage of postgraduate education. In all, our residents play a vital role in participating in patient care and working alongside other health care professionals here and in their continued careers.
