The steel is rising swiftly on the last phase of White Memorial’s hospital construction project. The bare beams will quickly become a new lobby, concourse (a wide hallway), gift shop, chapel, pergola (a garden trellis) porte cochere (a covered vehicle entryway). The entire project should be finished by January 2010.
