WWMC Ad Campaign Continues

Pasadena Top Docs Issue  

White Memorial is continuing the bilingual ad campaign it launched in 2008, to communicate the strength and talent of the hospital’s physicians, and help educate consumers that choosing a doctor also means choosing a hospital.

The campaign features several different ads, each stating something positive about doctors at White Memorial, such as “My doctor teaches and touches lives,” “My doctor really listens to me,” and “Our doctor cares about our family and our community.” Each ad then asks the question “Can you say that about your doctor?”

The campaign was re-launched in May 2009, with a four-page, full-color fold-out section in Pasadena Magazine’s “Top Docs” issue. Other ads are running on KFI 640-AM radio, in La Opinion, Eastern Group Publications, and on freeway billboards.

Online advertising is another important element of the campaign. The hospital is running banner ads on Yahoo.com and Yahoo en Espanol, has developed a Facebook Page and Group, and is running additional highly visible ads on the Health and Fitness section of MSN.com and MSN Latino for one week each. A bilingual, mini website (micro-site) was created specifically for the campaign, to help consumers find and choose the right White Memorial Doctor.

The campaign will conclude with a second high-impact color spread in Los Angeles Magazine’s “Best of L.A.” issue in August
