Resident Orientation

Welcome New Residents! The Medical Education Staff would like to welcome you to White Memorial Medical Center! The purpose of the Medical Education Department is to provide support and assistance to the residents at White Memorial Medical Center during their residency training. Our department offers a wide range of services and encourages you to take this opportunity to get acquainted with our staff.

We look forward to meeting you at the New Resident Orientation that will be held from June 18th- July 1st. Please note that new house staff physicians will be paid for time spent in New Resident Orientation. Payment eligibility will be based upon orientation attendance verification. As I am sure many of you may be taking a much needed vacation before you begin your residency program, please contact the Medical Education Department at (323) 268-5000 x 2102 so that proper check-in arrangements can be made.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Medical Education Department.

Our office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. We can assist you with any questions regarding payroll, benefits, and medical licensure just to name a few.
