Pediatric
Ward and PICU
The Pediatric unit is composed of 29 acute beds. Adjoining the unit is a five bed, fully equipped Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) complete with the latest sophisticated monitoring equipment. Separate pediatric unit and PICU rounds are completed daily.
NICU
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is comprised of 28 beds. All beds are completely monitored. Attending rounds are made seven days per week.
Newborn Nursery
The nursery is an expandable unit with a 40-bed capacity. There are approximately 3,571 deliveries per year with plans to increase this number. The pediatric house staff is called for primary C-sections and problem deliveries. All well babies are examined by the house staff. There is a separate Newborn Nursery rotation for the PL-I.
Outpatient Clinic
The outpatient clinic has approximately 45,000 visits per year. The pediatric house officer works one-on-one with a full-time staff member during his/her clinic rotations.

There are two to three teaching conferences per week in addition to Ward Attending Rounds:
