At White Memorial Medical Center, our team is dedicated to helping you every step of the way, from screenings to diagnosis, treatment and recovery. Our mission is to provide comprehensive cancer care for our community, combining sophisticated technology with a warm, caring touch.
We offer a full range of diagnostic and treatment options for all types and stages of cancer, including surgery, gynecological oncology, chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
Our new Cecilia Gonzalez De La Hoya Cancer Center, named for the mother of boxing sensation Oscar De La Hoya, features state-of-the-art equipment that provides advanced prostate, breast and other cancer treatment. It houses a linear accelerator, among the most powerful and advanced cancer treatment options available in the community.

Clinical Research
Participation in clinical research treatment protocols are available through UCLA and the City of Hope.
Education and Outreach Programs
You can take part in our education and outreach programs:
- A Breast Cancer Early Detection program for those with no health plan coverage
- Ongoing free and low-cost community screenings and education programs
- Bilingual programs
- Stop smoking programs at local schools
- Breast self-exam instruction
- Our free Latina Breast Cancer Support Group, conducted in Spanish
Rehabilitation Services
We also provide rehabilitation services and a hospice program.
Free Transportation
We offer free transportation within a five-mile radius.
Most Health Plans Accepted
We accept most health plans, including Medi-Cal.
